Longarm quilting

I have been working on a most challenging and beautiful quilt for a client, and am very happy with the result.

The quilt had large areas of open cream work which she wanted to echo the fabric patterns and also be light and airy. I decided to do a modern kind of vine. It meanders across the fabric in an unplanned design that I think looks very free and natural. My client was very happy when I delivered the completed quilt to her.

The detail of the quilting is shown here, before you get to this stage there is a lot of work to be done as all the pieced sections have to be stabilised by stitch in the ditch.
