The Felt Obsession continues

Here is a needle case design that I have made more than once over a few years – I have made at least 50 for various craft events that I have been involved in, but more on that later.

It is my own design, and continues to evolve over time. I love making them because I just stitch the colours and stitches that appeal to me, suiting my short attention span perfectly.

The design of these led to matching tape measure wraps, again in felt scraps. Wool felt is so forgiving to work in. No fraying and the felt seems to mould into a pleasing dimensional sort of shape.

From this . . .

To this . . .

They still need a press-stud to stay closed but I couldn’t resist showing them now. Very cute!
