Results of my experiments

I have been experimenting with different printable media to try to solve the problem of the rust smell, decay and equipment rusting. So here are my results:

A small section of the original fabric.

Inkjet printable cotton fabric sheet – Jacquard brand

Printable canvas sheet – brand not known (cheap I think)

Officeworks T shirt Transfer paper – unironed.

I did not play around with the colour settings at all, just printed direct to the fabric/paper with my HP printer. Of the three, the canvas seems the best colour-wise but is more orange than the original, stiffer handle and has a nice texture in the weave. The cotton sheet is also a good texture but a bit paler than the original in colour, nice handle and drape. The transfer paper is also pale and I know from previous experience will have slightly plastic sheen and handle.

When I get a chance to iron the transfer sheet, I will post a picture of that too.
