I have been away a while

. . . But now I am back.

When I last blogged, I had an enormous backlog of quilting to do in preparation for an upcoming quilt exhibition, but more on that later.

First was my trip to Melbourne for the AQC – Australasian Quilters Convention. We had a fantastic week. The convention was held at the Exhibition Centre. A stunningly beautiful building.

If you have read my blog before, you will know that I was very excited to attend because my quilt, Free Board and Lodging, had been selected as a finalist. It didn’t win, but I had lots of great comments from many people. Here I am with it at AQC. Coincidentally the winner by Helen Godden is to the right and the viewers choice to the left. It is by Bernadine Hine.
